PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread winder capable of easily fitting a thread in a traverse support point guide. SOLUTION: A plurality of guide members 34 provided with traverse support point guides 35 and 36 are slidably supported by a guide support member 30 extended along the longitudinal direction. The guide support member 30 can be moved along the longitudinal direction. When fitting a thread in the traverse support point guides 35 and 36, a plurality of guide members 34 arranged in traverse support point positions respectively opposite to a plurality of bobbins 20 are slid in the longitudinal direction, and pulled close to one end of the guide support member 30 on this side, and thereafter, the guide support members 30 is pulled out toward this side. With this structure, the plurality of guide members 34 are positioned in the thread fitting position on a worker path side of a virtual line X connecting between an end of a thread guide 4, which guides a thread Y supplied to a thread winder 1 over the thread winder 1, on a side opposite to the worker path side and an upper end of a unit main body 15 of the thread winder 1 on the worker path side.
