#CMT# #/CMT# The vehicle has an antenna (2) e.g. rod antenna, with optimized reception characteristics opposite to another antenna (1).An antenna amplifier (V) amplifies a signal received through one of the antennas. A receiver (HU) e.g. radio receiver, receives the amplified signal. A connecting unit (S) e.g. plug and/or socket, connects either one of the antennas with the receiver. A detecting unit mechanically and electronically detects installation of the antenna (2).
