PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rationally convert analog detection values detected in a plurality of detection targets and outputted sequentially into digital values in such a way as to utilize these analog detection values effectively for subsequent control. SOLUTION: An A/D conversion apparatus inputs analog detection values A1-A4 detected in a plurality of detection targets 7-9(10) and outputted sequentially and sequentially converts the analog detection values A1-A4 into digital values D1-D4 in each sampling term S to be repeated with the passage of time. The analog detection values A1, A2 from partial detection targets 8, 9(10), among the detection targets 7-9(10), are converted into the digital values D1, D2 continuously in each sampling term S, and the analog detection values A3, A4 from the other detection targets 7(10) are converted into the digital values D3, D4 discontinuously in every other sampling term S, or the like.
