PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing asbestos capable of efficiently recovering a coat such as asbestos scattered by a water jet. SOLUTION: Asbestos between a nozzle 3 and an asbestos introducing port 2d is crushed at the water pressure of the water jet W regardless of the thickness of an asbestos layer 23 by injecting the water jet W towards the asbestos introducing port 2d from a jet 3a for the nozzle 3. Asbestos can be pushed into the asbestos introducing port 2d without a scattering to a periphery at the same time. Since the internal space 2a of a box body 2 is held at a negative pressure by an aspirator 4, asbestos and water used for cutting out asbestos can be sucked efficiently into the internal space 2a. Accordingly, asbestos scattered by the water jet W and water used for cutting out asbestos can be taken efficiently into the box body 2, and asbestos in the box body 2 is discharged outside the box body 2 by the aspirator 4.
