PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for detecting use statuses of communication channels. SOLUTION: A detection system classifies communication channels according to the characteristics of the communication channels and detects the use status of each corresponding communication channel by selecting a signal period comparison method or a signal-to-noise ratio comparison method, based on a classification result of the communication channels.
