PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid H-steel causing no yield of the web before the yielding of the flange in the design of elasticity, easily designed, and easily manufacturable. SOLUTION: In this hybrid H-steel 1, the height of the web formed by joining a T-steel 2 with a yield strength f1 to a web plate 3 with a yield strength f2 by welding w is h. The yield strength f1>the yield strength f2, and the height h1 of the web of the T-steel≥(f1-f2)×h/(2×f1). For example, a high tension steel is used for the T-steel 2, and a soft steel is used for the web plate 3. A rolled T-steel or CT-steel is desirably used for the T-steel 2.
