PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a filament nonwoven fabric by which the filament nonwoven fabric having a high grade of creases can stably be produced by uniformizing the weight in the width direction in an entangling step. SOLUTION: The method for producing the filament nonwoven fabric continuously comprises a web-forming step of spinning filaments, collecting the resultant filaments on a net and forming a web, a fusion treatment step of carrying out a fusion treatment of the web, a superposing step of superposing the resultant web subjected to the fusion treatment and providing a superposed web and the entangling step of performing a needle punching treatment of the superposed web. The method is characterized by including the needle punching treatment in which the needle punching density of the central part in the width direction of the superposed web in the entangling step is≥1.5 times of that at the ends in the width direction of the superposed web in the step.
