The invention relates to an internal combustion engine, especially for a motorcycle, comprising at least one first injection device (9), running directly into a combustion chamber (6) of at least one cylinder (7) for the purpose of direct fuel injection, and at least one second injection device (10), running into the inlet flow path (1) of the cylinder (7) for the purpose of indirect fuel injection, at least one throttle valve (11, 11a) being arranged in the inlet flow path (1). Said throttle valve (11, 11a) is arranged downstream of the second injection device (10), thereby increasing combustion stability. |
