<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmitting device having an excellent lubricant retaining force, capable of preventing the lubricant from moving, and feeding the lubricant to a portion requiring the lubricant such as a roller clutch portion, etc. for the long term. <P>SOLUTION: In the rotation transmitting device, an inward member 3 and an outward member 5 are coaxially arranged to relatively rotatably support, an engagement member 12 is built in a pocket of a retainer 10 built in both the members, the engagement member 12 is engaged with the outer periphery of the inward member 3 and the inner periphery of the outward member 5, rotation torque is transmitted between the inward member 3 and the outward member 5, and a foaming solid lubricant 11 is sealed.
