PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporator for a refrigeration cycle device capable of suppressing generation of refrigerant passing noise inside tubes in the evaporator and suppressing decline in the rigidity. SOLUTION: The tubes 2, 3, 4, 5 are provided and formed to have flat refrigerant flow passage cross sections, respectively. Mountain parts (or valley parts) of a corrugated fin 19 are jointed to the outer surface of each of the tubes 2, 3 by brazing or the like, and mountain parts (or valley parts) of a corrugated fin are jointed to the outer surface of each of the tubes 4, 5 by brazing or the like. By a connection part, the mountain parts (or valley parts) of the corrugated fins 19 are connected with each other. Thus, this structure can reduce decline in the rigidity of a heat exchange core and suppress generation of refrigerant passing noise. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
