PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise canceling headphone capable of performing optimum cancel processing even when an input level of noise is maximum. SOLUTION: The noise canceling headphone includes a microphone for converting ambient noise into electric signals, a cancellation signal generation means for generating a cancellation signal by inverting a phase of a noise signal converted by the microphone, a mixer for mixing an audio signal and the cancellation signal and inputting a signal-acoustic conversion element. The cancellation signal generation means includes a determination means for determining whether the noise signal is excessively input or not, an attenuator for attenuating the noise signal determined as an excessive input by the determination means, and an amplifier for amplifying the cancellation signal generated by the noise signal which is determined as the excessive input by the determination means and attenuated.
