PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile phone which is capable of performing communication processing, even when corruption of roaming area information due to some troubles, when newly receiving roaming area information from the outside to update roaming area information. SOLUTION: The mobile phone includes: a storing means (S101) which stores roaming area information and its version information into a ROM; a decision means (S113) which decides whether version information of roaming area information stored in a non-volatile memory and that of roaming area information stored in the ROM are equal, when performing communication processings; and a control means (S115) which tries communication processings by using roaming area information stored in the non-volatile memory, in response to deciding that they are equal, and stores the roaming area information in the ROM into the non-volatile memory, in response to the decision that they are not identical.
