<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device for securing recording quality of data recorded on an optical disk, and to provide a recording power control method. <P>SOLUTION: Data recorded on the optical disk is periodically reproduced in recording data on the optical disk, a β value as an index of recording quality of the data in the optical disk is acquired on the basis of a reproduction waveform of reproduced data, a correction factor of recording power is calculated on the basis of the acquired β value, the recording power is corrected on the basis of the correction factor, and at that time, a recording area of the optical disk is divided into a plurality of sections, the correction factor of each section is managed, and the recording power is corrected on the basis of a correction factor of a section in which data is to be recorded next in the optical disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
