<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute a trans-codec concerning a multiprocessor. <P>SOLUTION: A multiprocessor 1 is provided with a hardware decoding means for acquiring first compressed data 13a to store the first compressed data 13a in a first memory 12a, and for decoding the first compressed data 13a stored in the first memory 12a to store the decoded data 13b in the second memory 12b; and a decode processing processor element as at least one of a plurality of processor elements 4a to 4d for encoding the decoded data 13b stored in the second memory 12b according to software 13e stored in the third memory 12e, and for storing the second compressed data 13c acquired by encoding in a fourth memory 12c, and configured to output the second compressed data 13c stored in the fourth memory 12c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
