PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor very excellent in electrophotographic characteristics such as environmental potential stability and residual potential and capable of exhibiting stable performances even in repetitive use. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer in this order on a support, wherein the intermediate layer contains a polymer of an electron transport material having a non-hydrolyzable polymerizable functional group, the non-hydrolyzable polymerizable functional group is a non-hydrolyzable condensation polymerizable functional group, and the non-hydrolyzable condensation polymerizable functional group is an amino group or an aldehyde group.
