<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques and systems for maintaining a secure document replication environment based on information contained in CACs (common access cards). <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an MFP (multifunction peripheral) which reads from a card information indicating one or more characteristics about a user who carries the card, generates a duplicate of a document in response to generation of the duplicate of the document by the relevant MFP by the operation of the user, and adds information based on the one or more characteristics to the duplicate when generating the duplicate, wherein the one or more characteristics are not displayed on the document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
