<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink curing fixation method which is excellent in curing fixation property of an ink to a base, does not cause failure such as transfer and color migration of the ink after subjected to the curing fixation even under mechanical stress or heating and is stable, to provide a printing method using the ink curing fixation method, and to provide an ink used for the methods. <P>SOLUTION: The ink curing fixation method is provided which includes at least a process of exposing the ink 6 on the base 5 to a dielectric barrier discharge to be subjected to the curing fixation, wherein a polymerizable compound is included in the ink.
