PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed unit of an image forming device capable of preventing accumulation of dust inside the paper feed unit without cost. SOLUTION: The paper feed unit 31 of the image forming device 1 comprises a base having a bottom plate, a guide plate 32 arranged with a space from the bottom plate, and a slide member 34 which is guided by the guide plate 32 to allow the guide plate 32 to slide in the width direction according to the size of a sheet. Guide grooves 33a, 33b extending in the width direction of the guide plate 32 are formed in the guide plate 32, and guide ribs projected downward from the bottom surface, inserted in the guide grooves 33a, 33b and guided by the guide grooves 33a, 33b are provided on the bottom surface of the slide member 34.
