PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a durable paper carton from which plate-like contents individually packed in a bag or the like are taken out, and from which each piece of contents is allowed to be easily taken out with preventing the bag or the like for individual packing from being caught at a take-out port. SOLUTION: The paper carton 1 has a body portion constituted of wide-width front face panel 11 and rear face panel 12, and narrow-width right and left side face panels 13, 14, with a wide-width intermediate partition panel 15 continuously provided to the left side face panel 13, and tilted forward. An approximately U-shaped zipper-like cut is made at the upper part of the front face panel 11, which is formed as an opening part 29 smaller than the shape of the contents, while the uppermost part of the intermediate partition panel 15 is tilted forward so as to cover the upper side flaps 22, 19 from the front with the intermediate lid panel 24, thus a discharge opening 28 is provided between the uppermost end of the intermediate partition panel 15 tilted forward and the uppermost end of the front face panel 11, from which the plate-like contents can be taken out one by one.
