PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit for piercing press units with which a plurality of piercing works are performed by successively lifting and lowering each punch of a plurality of the piercing press units which are arranged on a bed in the vertical direction with one piston cylinder. SOLUTION: The plurality of the piercing press units 2 are arranged on the bed 3, each of the piercing press unit having a frame 22 in which the upper part 22a of the frame on which a punch 21 is installed and the lower part 22b of the frame on which a die 23 is installed are arranged opposite to each other, and a cylinder mounting bracket 7 to which the piston cylinder 4 connected to the punch 21 is fixed is fitted so as to be attachable and detachable in the horizontal direction with respect to the upper part 22a of the frame. When piercing a material to be pressed with the punch 21 and the die 23, a robot-arm mounting bracket 8 to which the cylinder mounting bracket 7 is mounted through a connecting mechanism 9 which is composed of structure by which the reaction force generated on the punch 21 is absorbed is fixed to the robot arm 5.
