The invention relates to a radio device and method for transmitting radio signals including an electrical interface having at least one data terminal for connecting the radio device to an external data source, and comprising a transmitting device which is in communication with the at least one data terminal and which generates the radio signals with data signals of the external data source, transmitted via the at least one data terminal.
