<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for an electrochemical element excellent in reliability in charge/discharge cycles and high rate characteristics, and to provide the electrochemical element using it. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for the electrochemical element reversibly absorbing and releasing lithium ions is equipped with a current collector 11 which has a high first projection 13a and a second low projection 13b on at least one surface, and a columnar body 15 formed aslant on the first projection and the second projection of the current collector 11 and containing an active material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
