<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of improving light extraction efficiency of a light source module having light emitting diodes as a light source, and also capable of having a highly uniform luminance distribution, and a liquid crystal display device using it. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system K has a circuit board 123, light emitting diodes 124r, 124b, 124g mounted on the circuit board 123 and connected to a wiring pattern 13p formed on the circuit board 123, and a lens body 19 to seal the light emitting diodes 124r, 124b, 124g. The lens body 19 has a shape in which a wide region 19a with a wide width and a narrow region 19b with a narrow width are periodically repeated when viewed from the top, and the light emitting diodes 124r, 124g, 124b of red, green, and blue are mounted as a pair in each wide region 19a of the lens body 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
