PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device capable of improving sealing property of a laminated body and a sealing body storing it and capable of adopting a sealing means with sufficient productivity and reliability. SOLUTION: In the electrochemical device 10, a unit laminated body comprising a pair of electrodes 13 and 13, a separator 15 laid between them and electrolyte with which a part between a pair of the electrodes is filled is laminated with one layer or a plurality of layers so as to be filled in the sealing body 20. The pair of electrodes 13 and 13 are provided with overlap parts 16 of the respective electrodes and lead-out parts 17 projected from the overlap parts 16. The lead-out parts 17 of the respective electrodes 13 and 13 are connected to corresponding exposed electrodes 18 and 18. In the sealing object 20, opening parts 23 and 23 are formed in positions corresponding to the exposed electrodes 18 and 18, and inner peripheral edges of the opening parts 23 are bonded to the exposed electrodes 18.
