PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of specifying a lane of a vehicle and measuring a speed of the vehicle by accurately specifying the position of a vehicle even in the case of large vehicle. SOLUTION: A traffic flow measurement equipment acquires an overhead moving image of a road by a camera installed on a road surface, and detects the position of the vehicle, wherein an image processor is configured to detect a candidate of a leading end or tail of the vehicle, and to, when the length of a horizontal direction is projected on the road surface based on the posture parameter of the camera, and the length is larger than a value predetermined as the upper limit of lateral width of the large vehicle, project it to a position where the vehicle leading end or tail candidate is moved back in the visual line direction of the camera, and to set the on-road position of the large vehicle having the maximum lateral width or less as the position of the vehicle, and to estimate the height thereof as the height of the vehicle.
