ELECTRODE FOR FUEL CELL AND FUEL CELL EMPLOYING THE SAME

An electrode for a fuel cell is provided to improve ORR(Oxygen Reduction Reaction) of a catalyst and efficiency of HOR by broadening the electrochemical surface area of a catalyst. An electrode for a fuel cell comprises a catalyst; a material having stronger binding force with a negative ion than that of a negative ion with a catalyst; and a catalyst layer including a binder. The material having stronger binding force with a negative ion than that of a negative ion with a catalyst is a pyrrole-based compound represented by the chemical formula 1.
