<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device configured to be capable of preventing insufficient supply of a developer due to condensation and maintaining appropriate image density. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 30 has a developer carrier 31 which is freely rotatably disposed, a developer supply member 32 which is freely rotatably disposed while being brought into contact with the developer carrier 31, and a developer storing part 35A which is disposed above the developer supply member 32, wherein the developer storing part 35A is provided with a developer replenishing means 35 with a reduced load to be imparted to the developer supply member 32. The developer replenishing means 35 is composed of: a developer replenishing member 35B at least the top end of which includes an elastic member and which is disposed so as to be rotatable while the top end is brought into contact with the inner face of the developer storing part 35A; and a sheet 36 having an opening 36A facing the developer replenishing member 35B across a gap 35A1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
