PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect an electrode terminal simply, easily, safely, surely, and with high productivity, and safely and surely connect even an electrode terminal of dissimilar metal. SOLUTION: The packed battery is provided with a plurality of square batteries 10 having positive and negative electrode terminals 12 consisting of a first electrode terminal 12A and a second electrode terminal 12B provided on an electrode end face 11, and a fixing part 70 fixing the plurality of square batteries 10 in a laminated state. The first electrode terminal 12A has an insertion part 14 with its tip part bent in a direction along the electrode end face 11, and the second electrode terminal 12B has a receptacle part 15 for inserting the insertion part 14 of the first electrode terminal 12A. The receptacle part 15 is provided with an elastic pressing piece 16 for elastically pressing the surface of the insertion part 14. The packed battery inserts the insertion part 14 of the first electrode terminal 12A into the receptacle part 15 of the second electrode terminal 12B, presses the insertion part 14 with the elastic pressing piece 16, and connects the electrode terminals 12 of the adjacent square batteries 10.
