PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure switch which has a stable switching property by reducing variation in a spring property of a diaphragm. SOLUTION: A diaphragm structural member 3 and a saucer-shaped spring 5 are press-inserted into a housing hole 2d formed on an electrically conductive body 2, and on the above there is housed an insulating cover 4 in which a terminal pin 8 is integrally formed, and the cover is caulked by a caulking portion 2c of an upper end of the body 2 to formed a pressure switch 1. The diaphragm member 3 has a diaphragm 3b made of a metal which is pinched by an metal upper cover 3a and a lower cover 3c and a welding portion of an outer circumference of the member is welded by laser to make an integrated member. Downward pressed burrs created on a circumferential edge of the lower cover 3c by a pressing process are housed in a burr housing concave portion 7 formed on a circumferential edge portion of a bottom surface of the housing hole 2d of the body 2. Since the laser welding is used, a thermal distortion of the diaphragm 3b is reduced and as result, variations in a spring property are reduced and a switching property can be stabilized.
