SUCTION AREA CONTROL APPARATUS FOR UPRIGHT CLEANER BY REPEATEDLY GENERATING SUCTION FORCE ALONG WHOLE SUCTION NOZZLE

PURPOSE: A suction area control apparatus for an upright cleaner is provided to improve cleaning efficiency by repeatedly generating suction force along the whole suction nozzle. CONSTITUTION: In an upright cleaner, a suction hole(121) is formed at one side of a suction nozzle(112). A pair of rails(122') are formed at the upper and lower parts of the suction hole, and are parallel to the suction hole. A sliding plate(123) is inserted into the rails, and has a through hole communicated with a suction tube(114). A sliding-plate moving unit is installed around the suction nozzle, and moves the sliding plate right and left.
