A forklift functioning as both an unmanned forklift and a manned forklift. A body (11) of the forklift has an up-down lever (23) for up-down movement of a fork (14), a forward-backward lever (21) for forward-backward movement of the fork, a tilt lever (22) for tilt of the fork, and a vehicle speed lever (28). An up-down operation mechanism (54), a forward-backward operation mechanism (44), a tilt operation mechanism (48), and a vehicle speed control mechanism (58) for moving the levers are connected to the levers in automatic operation and are disconnected from the levers in manual operation.
