The method involves controlling a camera for detecting an image of a measuring surface (6) by a data processing unit, and the camera is arranged with a screen (5). The detected image is transformed for compensation of image defects. The contour and adjustment of segmentation is detected from user input data for modification of segmentation with measuring of user input data. The contour of a machine-readable display of the segmentation is calculated and displayed, which is correctly scaled, particularly in the DXF format i.e. AutoCAD drawing exchange format. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a measuring unit for measuring a screen and for producing a machine-readable display of the contour of the screen (2) a computer program (3) a data carrier. |
