The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy. A method for out-of-furnace processing of liquid cast iron by powder wire, which contains ferromanganese, comprises the introduction it in ladle with liquid cast iron, at that processing of cast iron by powder wire is carried out in two stages: on the first stage powder wire is supplied in ladle with rate of 0.2-0.5 m/s, at that duration the first stage is 10-15 % from overall duration of processing, and on the second stage powder wire is supplied in ladle with rate of 1.2-2.2 m/s, at that contents of ferromanganese in powder wire to set equal 280-440 g/m. The invention allows increasing of degree of recovery of manganese cast iron,that results to improvement of properties of casting articles. |
