The method involves providing a mold, which includes a part for forming a shock absorbing element (2) i.e. bumper, and a half section to form a deformation element (3). A thermoplastic synthetic material is contacted with the mold at elevated temperature and pressure such that thermoplastic plastic material spreads over the parts of the mold. Desired molded plastic material is cooled. An independent claim is also included for a plastic combination for a thermoplastic plastic material, comprising a shock absorbing element.
