A plasma display panel is provided to prevent the luminance from being degraded and prevent contrast from being lowered. A plasma display panel comprises the front substrate(20), the backplane substrate(10), the partition(16a), the fluorescent material layer(19), the sign electrode(27), the dielectric layer(28), the address electrode(12). The front substrate is colored with the first color. The front substrate and the backplane substrate are arranged to face each other. The backplane substrate is colored with the second color. The partition defines a plurality of discharge cells between the front substrate and the backplane substrate. The fluorescent material layer is coated onto within discharge cells. The dielectric layer is formed on the front substrate while covering the sign electrode. The address electrode corresponds to each discharge cell on the backplane substrate. |
