A stepping motor operating a watch or a motor fan is provided to reduce the dead space caused by the outer shape of a coil yoke and realize rotation drive at low current and low speed rotation. A stepping motor comprises: a coil(4) correspondingly faced to a concentric magnet(7) with a fixed gap; a magnetic member which is maintained in order to surround coil and comprises a pole interposing between the magnet and coil. The magnetic member comprises a first magnetic member in which a first pole portion(1a) is formed and a cylinderlike second magnetic member of a type of cylinder comprising a floor in which the second pole portion(2a) is symmetrically shaped with the first pole portion to the central axis of the magnet.
