A silicone composition for fire prevention, and a method for preparing a gasket by using the composition are provided to prevent the generation of toxic gas from a gasket used in the building and to prevent the route of the flame to be opened by the melting of a gasket in case of a fire. A silicone composition for fire prevention comprises 10-50 parts by weight of a fire retardant silicone; 10-30 parts by weight of a fire retardant filler; 40-70 parts by weight of the calcined alumina; 3-10 parts by weight of a plasticizer; and 1-5 parts by weight of a heat resistant agent, wherein the fire retardant silicone comprises polyalkylalkenyl siloxane or silica and titanium oxide, and the fire retardant filler comprises quartz, dimethyl siloxane and titanium dioxide. Preferably the calcined alumina is alpha alumina.
