<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip having a clip attached to an attaching part and capable of enhancing manufacturing workability, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A door weather strip 5 includes a base 11 attached along the outer periphery of a door frame 7 and a hollow seal 12, and a clip 21 attached to the base 11. The clip 21 includes an engaging part 31 fit in and enagageable with an attaching hole 22 in the door frame 7 and a retained part 41 retained to the base 11. The retained part 41 includes a retaining piece 42 having a slender shape and a coupling portion 43 coupling the center area of the retaining piece 42 in the longitudinal direction and the engaging part 31. Using an inserting means equipped with an insertion pin 51 which is nearly cylindrical and sharp-pointed, the insertion pin 51 is pierced into the base 11 so that the retaining piece 42 is fed through the inner peripheral side of the insertion pin 51 to the inner face side of the base 51, thereby attaching the clip 21 to the base 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
