<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable liquid crystal compound wide in a temperature range showing a liquid crystal phase, chemically stable, capable of being inexpensively produced, and wide in a selective-reflection wavelength band Δλ, namely, large in an optical anisotropy Δn, to provide a polymerizable liquid crystal compound containing the compound, to provide a liquid crystal polymers obtained by polymerizing them, and to provide an optically anisotropic material using the liquid crystal polymer as a constituent material. <P>SOLUTION: Provided are a linear polymerizable liquid crystal compound having an azine skeleton as a mesogen, a polymerizable liquid crystal composition containing the polymerizable liquid crystal compound and a polymerizable chiral compound copolymerizable therewith, a liquid crystal polymer obtained by polymerizing the polymerizable liquid crystal compound or the polymerizable liquid crystal composition, and an optically anisotropic material using the liquid crystal polymer as a constituent material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
