<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorant which is less selective in the kinds of odor components and has an instantaneous effect and a long lasting effect. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorant contains an amphoteric macromolecule whose essential component monomers are a vinyl monomer having a carboxyl group and a cationic vinyl monomer, and a cationic surfactant indicated by general formula (1). In the formula, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are the same or different alkyl group or alkenyl group respectively, R<SP>4</SP>is the alkyl group or the alkenyl group or an arylalkyl group or an aryl alkenyl group, f is an integer of 1-10, and X<SP>f-</SP>is the counterion of f value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
