PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of enlarging and displaying video information with excellent visibility. SOLUTION: A micro-processing unit (MPU) 11 of a digital broadcast receiver includes: a still image capturing section 111 which accepts operation input from a user via a remote controller 3 and captures still image information corresponding to video information of digital broadcasting received via a receiving section 15 on the basis of the accepted operation input; a region setting section 114 which accepts operation input from the user via the remote controller 3 and sets an enlargement region that is a region to be enlarged, in the still image information captured by the still image capturing section 111 on the basis of the accepted operation input; and an enlargement and display section 115 which enlarges the still image information included within the enlargement region into a preset enlargement magnification and displays it on a display 21.
