<p>A transmitting device, a receiving device, a transmitting method, a receiving method, a communicating method, and a program are provided to control accuracy and receive a signal with high performance by including the transmitting device controlling a quantity of a common redundant bit inserted according to an average length of the bit. A transmitting device(4) includes a redundant signal control unit(410), and a signal coding unit(420). The redundant signal control unit maintains the control information specifying the insertion position and the inserted quantity for inserting the redundant signal in the receiving device into an information data sequence. The signal coding unit produces the signal sequence which is coded by encoding the information data sequence. The signal coding unit generates a transmission signal by inserting the redundant signal into the signal sequence coded based on the control information maintained by the redundant signal control unit.</p> |
