PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion module and its manufacturing method, which facilitate highly precise positioning of a light emitting element or a light receiving element relative to a housing by means of a simple structure. SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion module 1 which is fixed in the housing not shown in the figure to perform photoelectric conversion comprises a fixing frame 2 having anchor holes 2a, 2b for insertion of a positioning pin formed in the housing, a mounting pad 3, and a sealing resin 4 for sealing a light emitting element 10, where the fixing frame 2 and the mounting pad 3 are integrally molded together. Since the photoelectric conversion module 1 is fixed to the housing by using the fixing frame 2 integrally molded together with the mounting pad 3, the light emitting element 10 is positioned relative to the housing with high accuracy. The mounting pad 3 is held and reinforced by the fixing frame 2. This can prevent a resin flow pressure from deforming a lead frame member in resin molding and the optical axis from deviating or tilting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
