PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lookahead stop control by temporarily stopping the analysis of the block of a machining program, and resuming and continuing the analysis of the block from the temporarily interrupted place when the execution of the previous block ends. SOLUTION: This numerical control device for performing numerical control by successively executing the lookahead and analysis of the block of a machining program, and storing the block in a lookahead buffer, and executing the above block is provided with a discrimination means for discriminating whether or not there is a lookahead stop code for temporarily stopping the analysis of the block in the above block; a means for temporarily stopping the analysis of this block when it is discriminated that there is the lookahead stop code by the discrimination means; an end decision means for deciding that the execution of the block whose sequence is prior to the block whose analysis has been temporarily stopped has ended; and a resumption means for resuming the analysis of the block whose analysis has been temporarily stopped on the basis of the decision result of the end decision means.
