PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet bowl of a washing type using a swirling flow, preventing splashing of the swirling flow at an opening part of a buttocks washing nozzle or the like. SOLUTION: In this toilet bowl 21, a toilet bowl body 22 includes a skirt 23, a bowl 24 and a rim 25, and a recessed groove 30 for a swirling flow Q is formed of a base 30a, a depth surface 30b and a top face 30c. The base 30a and the inmost depth surface 30b are formed annularly in a plan view extending over the whole periphery of the upper end 24a of the bowl 24, and the top face 30c is formed on the lower surface of the rim 25 blocking the upper end 24a of the bowl 24. The buttocks washing nozzle opening 31 for a buttocks washing nozzle P, a buttocks drying air opening 32 and a suction opening 33 for a bad smell R are provided in order on the top face 30c of the recessed groove 30 extending from the central part of the toilet bowl body toward the left-hand rear.
