PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of oversurface blowout type capable of enhancing the suck-in performance from a suction hole and of performing the operation easily in maintenance. SOLUTION: A casing 1 is equipped at its front-face corner with an inclined surface 1a furnished with an auxiliary suction hole 3, and even in case outdoor units are installed in the horizontal single row arrangement and the air suction amount from a side-face suction hole 2 can not be secured satisfactorily owing to the influence of the adjacent outdoor unit, the intended cooling/heating operation can be conducted without dropping the heat-exchange performance by complementing the insufficient portion with the air suction amount from the auxiliary suction hole 3. On the front face of the casing 1, a front panel 1b having an L-section is mounted removably ranging from the vicinity of the forefront of the inclined surface 1a to the left side-face of the casing 1.
