PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-liquid extraction technique which solves problems such as ineffective operability, high maintenance and operation costs and unreliability of safety that are common to existing continuous liquid-liquid extraction apparatuses (a mixer settler, a pulse column, a centrifugal extraction apparatus, etc.) utilizing the principle of a two-liquid-phase mixing depending on mechanical functions such as mixing and centrifugal force, and which is expected to be widely used in various industrial fields. SOLUTION: A mechanism is prepared which generates the flow (emulsion flow) of an emulsion state only by feeding a liquid. Thereby, an excellent mixture state of the two-liquid-phase can be successfully prepared independently of the mechanical functions (shaking, mixing, centrifugal force, etc.). As a result of success in manufacturing an apparatus employing this method as a principle, all of the above problems common to the existing liquid-liquid extraction apparatuses are solved and then this apparatus proves to be equal to the best existing apparatus (centrifugal extraction apparatus) in other important features (rapidness, mass treating capacity, efficiency, compactness).
