PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool capable of regularly forming a fine uneven shape on an outer surface of a cylindrical drum and preventing rubbing of its flank and damaging. SOLUTION: In the cutting tool 1 forming a cutting ridge 9 for cutting a workpiece at a crossing section between a rake face 6 and flank 7 of a blade edge tip 3, the rake face 6 is polished so as to have no trace of grinding on the workpiece, the flank 7 is rounded in a recess in side view, and the cutting ridge 9 is formed at an uneven curved state by preparing in parallel a plurality of fine uneven ridged traces 8 in the direction approximately perpendicular to the cutting ridge 9.
