A method of a laminated lithium ion battery, the lithium ion battery including positive electrode layers (11,21) and negative electrode layers (12,22) prepared by aqueous or nonaqueous binder, having microporous separators (3) interposed between the positive electrode layers (11,21) and negative electrode layers (12,22), wherein treating specially the positive electrode layers (11,21) and negative electrode layers (12,22) or the separators (3) to contain a layer of polymer coating, then laminating and assembling the positive electrode layers (11,21) and the negative electrode layers (12,22) and the separators (3) so as to make the positive electrode layers (11,21) and the negative electrode layers (12,22) and the separators (3) bind together tightly under some pressure and temperature, thereby forming good interface layers to ensure the performance of the lithium ion battery.
