<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo system wherein it is possible to make compact and achieve commonality of a servo driver, reduce cost, and save the space for the system. <P>SOLUTION: The servo system 110 is constructed of: servo drivers 12A, 12B, ... of such DC power input specification that an AC/DC power supply unit 11 can be connected and neither an AC/DC conversion circuit nor an AC/DC power source is built in. Multiple servo drivers can be provided like servo drivers 12A, 12B, .... A regenerative circuit is built in the AC/DC power supply unit 11.
